Hong Seafood Makes Waves at Seafood Expo Asia 2024!

We had an amazing time at Seafood Expo Asia 2024, held from September 4 to 6 at the iconic Sands Expo & Convention Centre here in Singapore! Our booth, nestled in the busy Singapore Pavilion, was buzzing with excitement as we showcased the best of Hong Seafood—mixing innovation, sustainability, and of course, deliciousness!


A Booth to Remember!

Strategically located in a prime spot on the expo floor, our booth was designed to reflect Hong Seafood’s growth and innovation, and we are proud of how it turned out. Here are some highlights:



  • An open, inviting layout that made it comfortable for visitors to stop by and chat

  • Well designed displays sharing the story behind our products and company history

  • Tasting station (because what's better than trying our products in person!)

  • Plus, our revamped packaging designs were on full display!


Showcasing Our Star Products

The real stars of the show? Our featured products for 2024! We gave them their own special space at the booth, each one telling its own unique story. Here’s what we featured:

  • Cooked Prawn – The Crowd Favorite: Always a hit with seafood lovers for its top-notch quality, taste and convenience.

  • Premium Scallop – The Culinary Darling: Chefs and foodies couldn’t stop raving about these deliciously tender scallops.

  • Lobster Noodle – Our Newcomer: We launched this brand-new product at the expo, and it was an instant favorite. Think premium lobster paired with noodles—yum!

Special Highlight: We were thrilled to display our Live Cooked Frozen Vannamei Shrimp at the Product Showcase, right by the Tasty Kitchen. This product got a lot of attention, with many visitors eager to learn more about its freshness and convenience. It was exciting to see how well it was received!


Commitment to Sustainability: The Future is Now

At Hong Seafood, we’re all about doing business sustainably. This year, we had the privilege of sponsoring sustainable seafood for the Young Chef Competition. We’re super excited about supporting the next generation of chefs and helping them make sustainability a priority in their kitchens.

We also featured our sustainable products, like the Far West Half Shell Scallop and Red Sea Prawn, which were big hits in the Young Chef Challenge Kitchen.

Our booth wasn’t just about showcasing products; it was also a platform to share our vision for sustainable seafood practices. Visitors got to learn more about how we source responsibly and support eco-friendly initiatives. We loved engaging in conversations about how we can all do our part to protect the ocean while delivering the best seafood!


VIP Visit: A Highlight of the Expo

One of the most exciting moments for us was welcoming Ms. Low Yen Ling, Senior Minister of State for Trade and Industry of Singapore, to our booth. She was very impressed with our booth design and took a keen interest in our featured products and the new packaging designs.

During her visit, we talked about everything from product innovation to sustainability, and how these efforts are helping to drive Singapore’s seafood industry forward. It was such an honor to have her stop by!


Interactive Fun: A Taste of Hong Seafood

Our tasting station was a crowd favorite, where visitors could sample our Lobster Noodle and get a firsthand taste of the Hong Seafood experience. It was so fun to see everyone enjoying our food and learning more about what makes our products so special.
